Must be off retinol for 5 days prior to any facial wax. Please consult your doctor about getting waxed if you are on any acne medications or antibiotics.

You can most certainly get waxed while pregnant! Again, it is possible to be more sensitive during pregnancy.

Not everyones hair grows back at the same rate. After your first wax it may come back sooner than it will after your fourth or fifth wax.

Hair should be about 1/4 of an inch or the length of a grain of rice to get waxed. Wait at least 7 days after shaving to get waxed.

The suggested time between waxing appointments is four to six weeks.

Shaving in-between visits will set you back and take longer for you to reach your desired goal of a perfectly smooth wax.

Medications do affect waxing. If you are on any medications please let me know at the beginning of your visit. You can not be waxed while taking any antibiotics or acne medications.

While we NEVER recommend tanning in a bed or booth, if you do choose to please wait 24 hours before and after your wax to do so. You however can get a gorgeous spray tan after your wax.

I do recommend waiting 24 hours before engaging in any activity that will make you sweat. Sweating can cause irritation and ingrown hairs in the first 24 hours after a wax so please refrain from hot tubs, saunas, exercise and intimate contact.

You can absolutely get waxed during your period. Just know that you are more sensitive and I do ask that you arrive to your appointment with a tampon in.
